Embracing Continuous Improvement
There's a quote by Mark Twain that is, “continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.” And I feel like that is every day, continuous improvement. Like Jessica said earlier, both of us came into Gingras Global at the same time, about a year and a half ago, from very different places, and we've learned so much in this year and a half. We have really learned that sometimes there are going to be bumps in the road. Sometimes you're going to have to back up and redo something because it didn't flow the way it needed to. So it's definitely a continuous improvement to strive for that perfection—always a work in progress, but always getting better.
Absolutely, because we're not perfect and we're always willing to admit that we've made a mistake. Transparency is so important with our clients. We're not always getting it right, but we're continuously striving to be better and to deliver accurate information. Coming into this fund administration world, there are a lot of boxes to check, but there's also grace and an art in letting your client know that there's been a mistake, but we are here to correct it and move forward in the best way we can.
