Importance of Relationships

Now, Jason, I know they brought us together to talk about excellence. I have to start at the very beginning with that, if you're talking about excellence, I think one of the key things is hiring Jason's right in your organization. I think that's what really critical. Really brings it all together, right? It's critical, it's critical. Yes, yeah, Jason is synonymous with excellence and I'm excited to be here today to expand upon that.

My name is Jason Teeters, and I’m the Director of Reporting and Assessment here at Gingras Global. I’ve been a part of the organization for a little over two years, coming in with a background in organizational design and leadership development. In my role, I work with organizations, entrepreneurs, and founders to help them assess their organization from the start, and then follow up with them quarterly to review how they’re advancing toward their vision and making sure they’re aligning to the plan they created for themselves. I’m Jason Caya, Director of Investments and Portfolio Management, and I’ve been with Gingras Global for almost eight years. I currently work in the Fund Administration Division, focusing on the portfolio companies of the funds we help manage. I work with fund managers and entrepreneurs of those companies to support transactions, ongoing reporting, and the hopeful exit at the end, while also reporting back to investors and helping with fund accounting. When we talk about excellence, one of the biggest things that is critical for us is relationships. I’ve worked for and with many companies, and one of the things that really stands out about Gingras Global is the way the organization prioritizes relationships—both internally among the team and externally with clients. There’s a clear emphasis on relationship building right from the start and on fostering a strong culture. When I think of excellence, relationships are a cornerstone. It’s a deep area to explore, because even though we’re fully remote, we’re fully connected. Everyone touches every part of the business, and we all have the chance to interact, work together, and develop rapport and trust. Romy and Natalie have set that tone from the beginning, assembling a team where we all feel connected and where, ultimately, we’ve each found a home.
